Georgetown ISD is a No Place for Hate school district. No Place for Hate helps to create and sustain inclusive school environments where all students feel valued and have the opportunity to succeed by promoting respect for individual difference. No Place for Hate also challenges bigotry and prejudice.
The Georgetown ISD Board of Trustees unanimously voted to name Middle School #4 after longtime GISD mentor George Wagner at its regular meeting on September 19. Wagner has served as a mentor and volunteer in Georgetown ISD since 1997, and has been involved in various community programs through the years.
