2018-2019 course verification sheets were sent home with all students Thursday, April 12th. Students must turn in their signed course verification sheets to the bubble by Friday, April 20th. All verification sheets require a student and parent signature. If you wish to make any changes to the course selections, please mark a line through the course to be changed and add the class your student has selected in lieu of the dropped course. Please note, this will be the last opportunity to make schedule change requests for the 2018-2019 school year. While we make every effort to honor requests, we cannot guarantee that students will be placed into their first choice electives. In the case that first choice electives do not fit within your child's schedule, alternates will be selected. Therefore, please give consideration to all courses on the verification sheet, including alternates. Additionally, please note that the order of classes on the course verification form is not the order of classes your student will receive on his/her schedule next school year. Schedules will be sent home at a later date. Thank you, Your BMS Counselors

The Georgetown Independent School District Board of Trustees named Justin Del Bosque as the new principal for Forbes Middle School during its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, April 17.
The district began exploring the development of a community-based accountability system last spring in an effort to develop a system that, while meeting general state standards, reflects the values of our community and also has meaning. When our community came together to develop the Learner Profile and refine the district’s strategic plan, you told us what matters to you. Now, we want you to tell us what questions you would need to have answered to indicate we are meeting your expectations. We hope to see you at this event.
