Georgetown ISD Fine Arts

Fine Arts Department

  • The Fine Arts Department of Georgetown Independent School District includes the areas of music, visual arts, theater, and dance.  Also included under the fine arts umbrella is cheerleading.

At the elementary level, art and music education are offered at all campuses, allowing students to develop an understanding of the cultural and creative nature of music and art.

At the secondary level, fine arts classes center on both curricular and extra-curricular activities.  Students participate in a variety of activities through UIL and many other organizations.

The Klett Center for the Performing Arts (PAC) at Georgetown High School has 1,191 seats and hosts high school and district-wide events. East View High School (EVT) has a 372 seat theater and can accommodated smaller, more intimate performance events.  Both of these outstanding facilities provide handicap seating and are available for rental by community organizations.  For more information, visit the Facilities Rental page.
