Georgetown ISD is a No Place for Hate school district. No Place for Hate helps to create and sustain inclusive school environments where all students feel valued and have the opportunity to succeed by promoting respect for individual difference. No Place for Hate also challenges bigotry and prejudice.
The Georgetown Independent School District Board of Trustees named Justin Del Bosque as the new principal for Forbes Middle School during its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, April 17.
The goal is to increase public awareness and understanding, reduce stigma, and encourage local communities to focus on alcoholism and alcohol-related issues.
In 2015, the 84th Legislature enacted HB 2804, which, in turn established an A-F rating system for public school districts and campuses to be implemented September 1, 2017 (TEC §39.054).
The first A-F overall rating and A-F rating for each domain will be assigned August 15, 2018.
