Georgetown ISD will host a College Fair Night on Tuesday Sept 26th at East View High School’s cafeteria, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Personally meet reps from Colleges, Universities, Trade schools, Academies, Military Branches and more. So save the date and register at GOTOCOLLEGEFAIRS.COM to streamline the college fair circuit. When you register you will receive a bar code that will allow you to share information with select schools electronically as you visit with college reps.
To ALL 9th, 10th and 11th grade students
Wednesday October 11th East View High School will be giving the PSAT test to all 9th, 10th and 11th grade students. This practice SAT test will provide opportunity for students to show college readiness skills in the areas of- Reading, Writing and Math. This test will provide support for college and career planning, SAT support, Advanced Placement suggestions as well as information for future course selection. Specific details and informational packets will be provided to you as we get closer to our testing date.
To ALL SENIORS- The Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) is accepting applications for the 2017 Youth Awards educational grants program.
Our 19th Annual Youth Awards program will award students, graduating Class of 2018, with educational grants to pursue their higher education or to fund a community-based project. Recipients will be selected for their accomplishments in the classroom, community, and for their excellence in various educational categories.
