Based on our original rezoning timeline, we intended to bring proposed attendance zones to the Board for approval at the January School Board meeting. However, additional time is needed to respond to questions and feedback received online and at the public meetings held on January 5 and January 10. We will continue to work with the demographer to see if any changes can be made to address some of the concerns brought forward.
The Board of Trustees will receive an update on rezoning at the January 17, 2017 School Board Meeting; however, the Board will not take action on the proposed attendance zones at this time. We expect to bring a final recommendation to the Board at the February 21 School Board meeting.
